DuMol Wine Dinner
Restaurant Martin Wishart has the pleasure of welcoming DuMol Wines for our first Wine and Dine event of 2018. This exclusive dinner will welcome guest speaker Andy Smith (Winemaker, Viticulturist) Andy Smith originally comes from Edinburgh and will be returning to talk us through the wines.
During this event guests will enjoy canapés, amuse bouche, a four course tasting menu specially prepared by Martin Wishart and a matching wine selection from DuMol Wines, dinner will be followed by coffee and handmade petit fours.
Since our first harvest in 1996 we have thoughtfully assembled an unparalleled collection of vineyard sites that we individually farm to capture their full beauty. The Green Valley district of the Russian River is our home and our specialty. Our viticulture emphasizes soil and vine health through minimal external inputs. Our hand work in the vines is extensive, our crop levels moderate and our fruit selection strict. Each year we ‘follow the vintage’; intensively focused on the perfect day to harvest – neither too early nor too late. Our winemaking is intuitive and concentrates on the needs of each wine, employing the least ‘technique’ that is necessary. Our strong stylistic vision is precise, consistent and our driving force – we strike our own path and do not follow trends. Our ultimate quality is evident in every glass
Dinner will start at 7:00pm with a welcome aperitif and canapés.
This will be followed by a four course menu specially designed by Martin Wishart to pair with these fantastic wines, guest speaker Andy Smith (Winemaker, Viticulturist)
